This team is absolutely top notch! It takes a seriously exemplary experience for me to take the time to write a review, so here it goes. Fez in service was super helpful, clear and thorough over the phone, he took the time to check in with the techs regarding lead time, called me back with in-depth answers last week and was consistent with that same level of professionalism when I arrived in person a week later. He worked in unison with an excellent tech Mike that jumped right on replacing my leaking fork seals that had disabled my bike and kept me from enjoying the last month of rain free riding weather. My positive experience transitioned into the parts department. Bryce located everything needed to complete the work and was quick to field questions, remaining super positive even though I sent him searching for random parts in the warehouse on 3 occasions for a 20yr old motorcycle. He went the extra mile to add the part number for a couple grommets in need of replacement, (found by mikes thorough inspection) to my receipt. Their turn around time was insanely fast (same day even but stars aligned) as they pushed to squeeze my work order into their busy schedule. The price was also the lower then I was quoted at an independent shop, which blew my mind for the level of service I experienced. Todays events solidified who I am buying my next bike from, tearing me away from the draw of something German or Italian and will be the only shop I go to for maintenance moving forward
I had the worst experience ever here. I brought in a xr100 head to have a valve guide replaced and that was all… called after about a week and the front counter said he seen a tech working on it so he’ll go check if it’s done because he computer was showing it not done and he was going to call back when he found out. Didn’t get a call back so I called the next day and he told me the tech was waiting for another tech about retreading a spark plug hole. But no phone call to me personally until They told me about the issue when I was checking if the head was done….the first two pictures they sent me while it was in their shop and the third one was before I brought it in, I personally took the spark plug out before I went in and now I can’t put said spark plug back in because the threads on the head are now messed up… great work Modesto Honda Ktm
Buyer beware a large number of ohv are not California carb compliant and can not be registered which means they cannot be ridden on public land. I got to the 11th hour had the paperwork ready and asked about the reg. Was then told (after loan secured with hefty down payment via cashiers check) thank god I asked because I would not have been told this at all only to discover I bought a very expensive paperweight. Service was friendly my problem is the lack of transparency. After researching online most manufacturers advise to inform the customer of this HUGE drawback in Ca and some have labels or signs stating racetrack/private land only as I saw in pictures online from other dealers. Not this place I dodged a bullet year ‘22 + if not CARB compliant no registration possible, no public riding (legally) available
Service department experience is poor now. Have been going to this place for years and years and bought a couple bikes from here.. sales people are great but never will return to have a bike service again. When picking up a bike from a valve adjustment service I noticed blinker was broken they gave a little money back to try to make me happy the big problem when I got home I looked over a bike and realized a vacuum hose was off on engine they forgot to reconnect.. if I would not have noticed this the first time off-roading dirt could get sucked in motor and of course engine could be ruined. Seems this new wave of workers in service department is careless I would recommend going to Stockton or Tracy for bike service.
I ran over an piece of glass. Called These saviors up they hooked it up with a new tire. Saved the day. Thanks so much Josh. Highly recommend this place amazing service. Five stars
Bought my 2022 Kawasaki W800 there recently. It’s a dream bike. I love it!
I get compliments on it all the time and what’s cool about this spot is they keep a few other of the retro style Kawasaki’s there for folks like me.
Gave me a good price for my trade in as well.
The staff were very friendly and when a factory issue occurred in the first few days of owning the bike, they took care of all of the expense and made sure I was taken care of. Turns out it was a very, very simple fix from assembly.
Cool folks, very patient, awesome selection of bikes.
Apparently, the text didn't post with the photo. In summary, they mounted and balanced a new set of tires( bought from a competitor who couldn't complete the task) and they did it all on short notice. Wheels off the motorcycle =$30 each + $3 disposal of old tire if necessary. I came from out of town and had to get it done that day. The front tire was destroyed to the point that the tube had wadded and melted itself into a ball. It was like riding a paint shaker. Knowledgeable staff and all around wonderful people! -'13 KLR650
I must also give a "shout out" to Eagle Mike (eaglemike.com), as his Trail Stand($35) made the whole process so much more simple. This thing seems to make sense to carry almost no matter what you ride. Received compliments from all who saw it
"I honestly could not be happier with HK of Modesto. The people, the store (man is it well stocked!!), the highest level of customer service and the general vibe is really top-notch. Keep up the good work HK of Modesto, loving my new Suzuki!"
